About DeskHowTo

DeskHowTo publishes short, practical tutorials for everyday software: Excel, Word, Windows, Chrome and Zoom. Each guide answers one question and gets you to the solution quickly.

## How we write guides

• We follow every step in the current version of the software before publishing.
• When Windows, Mac, web and mobile differ, we show each separately.
• Each guide shows a last updated date, and we revise guides when menus change.

## Independence and funding

DeskHowTo is independent and isn't affiliated with Microsoft, Google, Zoom or any other company mentioned. The site is supported by display advertising through Google AdSense; advertisers don't influence our content.
